The eTRAYz is the first NAS device designed to act as a USB drive while you are on the go.
Simply install the PlugDisk utility to mount your eTRAYz disks anywhere to allow you to gain full access to your folders practically anywhere.
This mechanism is enhanced even to allow others to accept your invitations to sync with you shared folder or sharing an existing file.

Once you add other members to a folder, it will appear on your friends or colleagues desktop just as it does in yours.
Any changes made to the shared folder's contents will appear instantaneously to everyone who is a member of the folder.

how much of your eTRAYz space will be available to them and which applications they can access.

Organizing users into groups gives you the convenience in assigning access rights for shared folders. The group management allows you to create, edit and delete groups very much the same way it is done in enterprise class servers on the market.

The eTRAYz can be accessed from the internet even if it connected to your home router and assigned a dynamic IP address given to you by your ISP.
You can designate your device a friendly name and access it from any browser by simply typing yourname.eTRAYz.net.
Our DDnS server will do the rest of the job allowing you instant access. No subscription fees or difficult setup required.
Once you will decide to publish your website on the eTRAYz you will be able to forward your domains to it with few click of a button.

1. Type in the name you want to register and press SET.

2. The name should be composed of a combination of alphanumeric letters. You can't use numeric letters alone.
The maximum length allowed is twelve letters.

3. Even if this convention is satisfied, you can't register a name already taken by another user.

4. When the registration is successful, you can access with the registered name from outside your local LAN.

1. Press DELETE to delete a registered name.

2. You can registered a new name after deleting the old one.

* Login by sysadmin ID and select [Administrator]-[System]-[DDNS] menu.
* Input host name and click OK button.
* If there is the same host name, you have to input new host name.
* For this setting, port 80 and 8080 must be opened if using sharer. (Refer to Quick Guide.)
* This function is renewed at e-TRAYz booting or when IP is changed.
* To change the domain used, click [Delete] to delete the existing name. Register new name for use.
* External user must be connected through http://IP address.etrayz.net:8080.

The developers of eTRAYz had one goal in mind : to create a device that will be durable and designed for silent cool usage over long term of usage without poweroff.

in order to achieve that, the eTRAYz is built in with smart fan control that automatically adjusts fan speed according to the system temperature.

We collected user reports and made the eTRAYz ultra silent yet very cool device.

The eTRAYz supports Basic, JBOD, and RAID 0 volume types as well as RAID-protected volume types: RAID 1, RAID 5.
You will be able to run and install only 1 HDD on the eTRAYz, later to expand it with 2nd SATA drive.

The eTRAYz is equiped with Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port allowing you to beneift high through put required byt eh most demanding HD files streaming tasks on your local lan.

Technically the eTRAYz provides upto 50MBS throughput at a data rate of 1 billion bits per second. Gigabit Ethernet is defined in the IEEE 802.3 standard and is currently being used as the backbone in many enterprise networks.
Gigabit Ethernet is carried primarily on optical fiber (with very short distances possible on copper media).

When a USB device such as digital camera, digital camcorder, or pen drive is connected to the USB port at the rear side of the eTRAYz, data in the USB device can be backed up to the eTRAYz internal HDD by a simple click of a button.

External storage device may also be connected to the eTRAYz via USB port for alternative data backup.
